Agrasen ki baoli

This artwork is an 'illustration' using glass marking pencil on the cartridge. Stone surface texture, architectural perspective and the play of light have been interpreted through an intricate and detailed rendering. Agrasen ki Baoli (also known as Ugrasen ki Baoli), is a 60-meter long and 15-meter wide historical stepwell in New Delhi, India. There is no known historical record to prove who built Agrasen ki Baoli, it is believed that it was originally built by the legendary king Agrasen and the present architecture hints at it being rebuilt in the 14th century during the Tughlag period of Delhi Sultanate. #agrasenkibaoli #delhimonument #delhihistory #olddelhi #illustration #originalartwork #newdelhi #delhi #artgallery #artgallery-yajanekka #yajanekkas #yajanekka
